Jon Allen

Jon is one of London’s most experienced and versatile visualisation supervisors, with a career in the creative production industry that spans more than 20 years.

He began his film career as a helicopter camera operator in Hong Kong, learning the rudiments and constraints of practical cinematography. With a passion for animation, when not in the air he spent his time developing his own 3D character animation skills which saw him move from the film set to working as a character animator with some of London’s most prestigious companies including the BBC. From here Jon began a ten-year stint as owner, supervisor and animator at Tank Creative, where his love for previs fully developed, supervising early creative development for multiple films, TV series, commercials and idents.

After a brief tenure as animation supervisor at Atomic Arts, Jon moved to Proof Inc in 2012 where he went on to supervise previs, techvis and postvis on some of the biggest and most prestigious features to come out of London’s film industry in the last decade, including Spider Man: Far From Home and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
