
Lucy Killick
Lucy brings a wealth of experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer of Framestore's Film & Episodic division. Drawing upon a career that spans both production-side and facility roles, her deep understanding of film production and visual effects stems from years of hands-on experience working with Directors and studio clients, crucial insights that guide her leadership of Framestore’s studios in London, Montreal, Mumbai and Melbourne.
Lucy's journey began after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Los Angeles, leading to early roles as a VFX Coordinator and on-set Data Coordinator. Her work on Stephen Sommers' The Mummy in 1998 paved the way for her move to Framestore's long-format Television Department. There, she contributed to a diverse slate of productions, including Alice in Wonderland, A Christmas Carol, Don Quixote, and Dinotopia.
In 2002, Lucy transitioned to Framestore's Film department as a VFX Producer, working on notable projects like Chris Columbus' Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Kirk Jones' Nanny McPhee. In 2005, she went client-side, starting a successful freelance career, where she collaborated on acclaimed films such as Alfonso Cuaron's Children of Men, Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Martin Scorsese's Hugo, and Ridley Scott's Prometheus.
Before taking on her current role, Lucy served as Managing Director of Framestore's Montréal office for three years before returning to London in 2018 as Managing Director, Film. Her extensive experience gives her a unique perspective, driving the continued success of Framestore Film & Episodic teams.
