Stephane Nazé
Stephane’s career began with art school in Belgium. His move to VFX came when his early work caught the eye of French VFX company BUF, and he was quickly hired as an animator on Batman & Robin. At just 23 he supervised his first sequences on Fight Club, ‘living the dream’ of being on set and collaborating with David Fincher. The likes of Finding Neverland, Harry Potter and Thor followed before he moved to Method Studios in 2012 as a VFX Supervisor on Cloud Atlas, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Jupiter Ascending and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Stephane brings more than 20 years of VFX experience to the Montreal team, beginning with a return to Neverland as VFX Supervisor on Pan. He then returned to J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, overseeing the animation of the lovable Niffler and the complicated New York environment scenes in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Stephane returned for the franchise’s third film, The Secrets of Dumbledore, which earned him a VES nomination and a place at the Academy Awards visual effect bake-off.
Stephane’s most recent project was the third and final installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
