Mark Curtis
UK expat Mark Curtis joined Framestore in 2019, lending his considerable skills to The Aeronauts before commencing work on the genre-bending Tom & Jerry for Warner Bros.
Mark began his career at MPC in 2001, supervising films such as the action-packed James Bond instalment Spectre and Clint Eastwood’s Sully, for which he was nominated for a Satellite and VES awards. He also served as MPC’s Head of Department for the cinematic adaptation of Yann Martel’s Life of Pi, which earned the team a visual effects Oscar and VES award. Mark then joined ILM’s Vancouver team, supervising A Wrinkle in Time and The Mummy.
Deftly balancing Framestore’s trademark mix of technical expertise and startling creativity, Mark prides himself on note-perfect work that fits seamlessly within the filmmaker’s creative vision.
Mark has recently delivered Peter Pan and Wendy for Disney+.
