Thor II: Art Department

The second film in the popular Marvel franchise, Thor: The Dark World, sees Chris Hemsworth return to the title role in his beloved homeland Asgard, on a mission to prevent Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) from destroying the Nine Realms with a powerful entity known as the Aether. To create such fantasy on a massive scale, Director Alan Taylor turned to the Framestore Art Department to help conceptualise the stunningly intricate scenes within the mythical Asgard.
