This project was completed by Method Studios in 2017. Method’s film and episodic teams in Montreal, Vancouver and Melbourne are now a fully-integrated part of Framestore. 

A young girl risks everything to prevent a powerful company from abducting her best friend; a massive and gentle beast. The team created the 12’ long, 8’ tall pig-like creature weighing in at 12,000 lbs entirely in CG. Academy Award-winning VFX Supervisor Erik-Jan de Boer collaborated with Director Bong to develop and refine the detailed beast that swims, bumps into cars, crashes into a storefront, falls into CG vegetation – and interacts intimately and emotionally with the film’s actors.
