Taekyu began his career at Framestore in 2015 in the role of Junior Technical Director after graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York where he studied Computer Arts. Interstellar VR was his first project and laid the foundation for his successful career which enabled him to form part of the D&AD jury in 2021. 

As Real-Time Supervisor for the Immersive and Advertising division within Framestore, Taekyu uses his unique skill set to supervise on-going shows whilst also planning and bidding for future projects and helping the development of his team. He has worked on numerous projects including Netflix’s Emmy award-winning documentary Alien Worlds, McDonald’s Give In To Bacon campaign and Microsoft’s Kippy’s Escape.

In his spare time, Taekyu likes to get involved playing video games, taking photography and 3D printing.  His goal as Real-Time supervisor is to build an industry leading Real-Time team.
