Storybook Design
Closely linked to our title designs is our small but perfectly-formed suite of ‘storybook’ work for a range of high-profile projects. These sequences, often serving to provide exposition or segues between scenes, speak to our deep pool of creativity and craftsmanship.
Combining an artisanal, ‘analog’ aesthetic with our keen knack for modern storytelling, this work is renowned for its care, craft and distinct visual appeal. Early examples can be found courtesy of our film team, with standalone sequences such as the ‘Tale Of The Three Brothers’ scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and the heartstring-tugging pop-up book moment found in Paddington 2.
Recent examples include the distinctive ‘origin story’ of the Angels in His Dark Materials season 3, the brilliant ‘cut and paste’ aesthetic peppering Ms. Marvel and the wonderful clockwork elements found throughout David E. Talbert’s Jingle Jangle.
