Robert Allman
Robert Allman graduated from London Guildhall with an MA in Computer Animation in 1997 and joined Mill Film that same year. Over the next few years he honed his craft on blockbuster productions including Gladiator, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and the early Harry Potter films. He joined Framestore as a technical director and was reunited with JK. Rowling’s wizarding world, working on-set at Leavesden Studios on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and looking after The Goblet of Fire as CG Sequence Lead.
A move to Prime Focus saw him promoted to CG Supervisor on the likes of Mirror Mirror and Poltergeist before he rejoined Framestore to work on James Gunn’s wildly popular Guardians of the Galaxy. He has since continued to bring technical excellence to the MCU, serving as CG Supervisor on Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame - the highest grossing film of all time. Rob’s early pre-production work for Endgame was instrumental in developing the machine-learning system used to bring ‘Smart Hulk’ to life - an achievement indicative of his sharp creative eye and advanced technical know-how. Having served as VFX supervisor for The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, Rob is currently working on the live-action adaptation of Disney’s beloved The Little Mermaid.
