VFX Oscar Longlist 2018

The Academy’s Visual Effects Branch Executive Committee voted on its preliminary list of 20 this week, nominating six films worked on by Framestore; Avengers: Infinity War, Christopher Robin, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Mary Poppins Returns, Paddington 2 and Welcome to Marwen. The Framestore Art Department also worked for over a year in pre-production on Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, which was also selected. Congratulations to our team of talented artists across the company for their outstanding work.

Nominations will be announced on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. The 91st Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood
