Facebook, ‘More Together’
For Facebook’s 2020 Super Bowl spot, Framestore’s team in Los Angeles worked with Wieden + Kennedy Portland to highlight the breadth and depth of communities that exist within Facebook Groups and the moments of joy, connection and belonging that they share every day.
Set to Twisted Sister’s classic anthem, ‘I Wanna Rock,’ the continuation of the brand’s More Together campaign revolves around the “rock” theme to highlight stories inspired by real Facebook Groups, from rock climbing and experimental rocketry, to slightly more niche passions like stone collecting, skipping and carving.
Collaborating with Iconoclast directing team MEGAFORCE out of France, the :60 TVC even features the likes of Rocky legend Sylvester Stallone and comedian Chris Rock alongside real rock-centric Group members celebrating the power of coming together through shared interests and experiences.
Led by CG Supervisor Chris Eckardt, the Framestore team was responsible for DMP, scenery recreation, digital mapping and cleanup.
Saint Archer, ‘Patience’
Molson Coors’ new premium light beer Saint Archer Gold makes its Super Bowl debut with a 30-second spot, titled “Patience.” The spot features Paul Rodriguez, professional skateboarder and Saint Archer Brewing Company co-founder, riding through San Diego, the birthplace of Saint Archer, to the iconic whistling tune of ‘Patience’ by Guns N' Roses.
Working with creative agency Preacher, Framestore was responsible for finish and VFX, as well as colour by Los Angeles’ own Beau Leon.
