The Stellar Visuals in IF Are Anything but Imaginary

Animation Magazine spoke to VFX Supervisor Chris Lawrence and Animation Supervisor Arslan Elver to break down their work on the 42 imaginary friends created for John Krasinski’s IF. From the creating new facial rigs to the use of previs and postvis on set, Chris and Arlsan detail the process of creating a film with so many digital characters.

From initial storyboarding and character design to previs, on-set supervision, postviz, and the final delivery of shots, Framestore's involvement was extensive and integral.
