How to Have a Career in VFX

Creative Director and VFX Supervisor, Christian Manz appeared on the Honest Filmmaker's podcast How to Have a Career in VFX this week discussing his own career from films like Nanny McPhee to the Fantastic Beasts films. Christian also shared his advice for people wanting to enter the industry.

Christian is a VFX Supervisor with over 20 years experience in the industry, accumulating four BAFTA and an Academy Award nomination for his work in feature film. He joined Framestore in 1997 after training as an illustrator, working as a compositor on Dinotopia and Space Odyssey. He was the VFX Supervisor for a number of television projects including Spooks and ITV’s Primeval. With Mike Newell’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Chris Weitz‘s The Golden Compass, he led the compositing teams with great success.
