Michael is one of today’s most celebrated names in animation, and leads Framestore’s animation teams in both London and Montréal. Renowned for his distinctive vision and bold creative instinct, he is equally at home helping a director deliver an explosive setpiece or bringing to life subtly nuanced characters that resonate with global audiences.

Michael was nominated for an Oscar in 2019 for his work as Animation Director on Disney’s visually sumptuous Christopher Robin. Prior to this he served as Animation Supervisor on features such as  Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Other notable highlights include projects such as Spike Jonze’s benchmark-setting Where The Wild Things Are, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the BAFTA-nominated Children of Men and the Emmy Award-winning Dinotopia.
