Joshua Simmonds

In his 20+ year career across VFX and animation, Josh has proven as comfortable with auteur filmmakers and studio tentpoles as he is with beloved children’s classics and haunting modern horror. 

Honing his skills at  studios in both the UK and Australia, his career spans film, advertising and episodic work. Recent projects include Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Nia DaCosta’s record-setting Candyman and Chris Pratt-starrer The Tomorrow War. 

Other credits include DC Comics blockbuster Aquaman, the locally produced Judy & Punch, Coen Bros. feature The Ballad of Buster Scruggs and HBO’s Games of Thrones Season, which earned him an AACTA Award for Best Visual Effects.
