John Kilshaw

With more than 15 years experience, John joined Framestore after previous roles at DNEG, ILM, Lucasfilm, Method, and Zoic where he built an extensive credits list including several Harry Potter installments, The Avengers, and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, as well as television shows like Marvel’s Iron Fist and The Defenders, Cary Fukunaga’s Maniac and FBI thriller Quantico. 

Based out of the New York studio, John brings his cinematic and television experience to Framestore’s Episodic department as it continues to deliver the highest-quality VFX and creative partnerships to the biggest at-home entertainment brands globally. Most recently, he oversaw VFX for scenes in Marvel’s WandaVision and Netflix’s sci-fi drama Away, and Amazon Studios’ hit series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

John holds a BA hons in Photography and Design from North Staffordshire Polytechnic and an MA in 3D computer animation from Bournemouth University.
