Carlos Monzon
Having moved to Montréal from Central America aged seven Carlos is fluent in English, Spanish and French. He attended the acclaimed NAD Centre, studying 3D Animation for Film and TV before working as a 3D generalist and then specialising in compositing at Meteor Studios, working across projects including Fantastic Four and 300.
Carlos’ career has been varied and vibrant; a move to Animal Logic in Australia saw him work on the Academy Award-winning Happy Feet, before moving to ILM and applying his visual skillset to VFX-driven Hollywood productions including Wall-E, Star Trek, Transformers, Avatar and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Carlos returned to Montréal in 2010, and joined Framestore in 2013 at the launch of the then-new facility. Since then he has served as VFX Supervisor on the critically-acclaimed Paddington 2, the Oscar-nominated Christopher Robin, Pokemon: Detective Pikachu and Adam McKay's all-star feature Don't Look Up. Carlos has recently completed work on the whimsical and critically-acclaimed Wonka for Warner Bros.
