Aron Hjartarson
As Executive Creative Director at Framestore's Los Angeles office, Aron Hjartarson has been a critical force across some of the company’s most notable projects over the past decade.
Leading both real-time and immersive multi-platform projects for top tier clients, some of Hjartarson’s most recognizable work includes Pepsi’s ‘Mirrors’ featuring Beyonce, Gatorade’s ‘Sports Fuel,’ and Samsung’s stunning eight-part series ‘Anti-DiaRy’ featuring Rihanna.
In 2019, his work on Free Solo 360 won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media and was shortlisted by Clio Entertainment. He also led Framestore’s work with Marc Forster on the 360 film for BMW’s M2, ‘Eyes on Gigi’ which became the most watched 360 film on YouTube.
Prior to Framestore, Hjartarson was Head of 3D at The Mill in New York where he supervised projects for directors and artists like Michel Gondry and The White Stripes. Before that, he spent time at Method Studios as VFX Supervisor where he worked on Spike Jonze's short film, I'm Here, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010.
His nearly 30 years of industry experience have given him the opportunity to work on projects that have received a host of awards, ranging from an Emmy to Clios, D&ADs, and everything in between.
