Benjamin Loch
Benjamin has been at Framestore for more than a decade, joining as a camera tracker after completing an MDES in Industrial Design at Coventry University and an MA in Computer Animation at Bournemouth University.
His credits include Marc Forster’s Quantum of Solace, Steven Spielberg’s War Horse (which saw him help develop the film’s BAFTA-nominated photoreal horse), Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok and two BAFTA-nominated instalments of the Fantastic Beasts franchise.
His canny mix of technical nous and creative flair have seen him develop a wide array of landmark sequences, from setting up the pipeline for the unique and hugely complex ‘Tengu cloth sequence’ for 47 Ronin to delivering the climactic third act for Hobbs & Shaw - a project that took Benjamin to Hawaii, but also required him to hang precariously from a helicopter.
Following work on James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, Benjamin returned to the Fantastic Beasts franchise, to supervise Framestore’s London studio’s contribution to Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
He recently worked on Warner Bros. smash hit Barbie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
