Loin d’être étrangère aux adaptations cinématographiques de bandes dessinées, Framestore était enchantée de faire équipe avec 20th Fox Century et le réalisateur David Leitch pour Deadpool 2, la suite très attendue du premier opus mettant en vedette Ryan Reynolds dans le rôle de Deadpool, un mercenaire narquois. Le studio créatif a produit 229 plans du film, menant le travail sur deux des principaux personnages de l’œuvre générés par ordinateur, ceux du Fléau et de Colossus, en plus de produire des effets visuels de superhéros et du travail d’animation.
