Tim Webber x The Corridor Crew

The Corridor Crew

Our Chief Creative Officer Tim Webber takes a comfy seat on the Corridor Crew Couch with Niko and Wren to reveal one of the best moments of his career followed a 'Children of Men' screening, overhearing someone wonder "how they got that actress to give birth on camera?" Must have been the subsurface scattering.

Digital and hybrid CGI humans are a feature in much of the work explored in this episode from the animation that supports Sandra Bullock and George Clooney's memorable performances in 'Gravity' to evolving these techniques in 'FLITE', Tim's directorial debut. They also take a look at the murky waters of the Black Lake in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' and the keying technique Tim developed on 'Gulliver's Travels' (the 1996 Ted Danson one, not Jack Black's) to cut out Daniel Radcliffe's water born hair from the underwater plate photography. Eyeballs and CG teeth are a big topic of discussion related to the transformation of Harvey Dent into 'The Dark Knight's' villain Two Face.
