Dragons over CinemaCon

How To Train Your Dragon set this year's CinemaCon alight, and the early reactions have been incredible.

Critics and journalists have described the film as “a gorgeous reimagining of one of the most beloved animated films of all time" and "visually stunning," saying that "Director Dean DeBlois recreates the magic of the original."

Framestore collaborated closely with Dean DeBlois to bring his beloved 2D classic into a stunning new 3D world. Led by Production VFX Supervisor Christian Manz, this epic project took advantage of the full Framestore offer, from early tests, concept art and visdev through to previs, techvis and postvis and on into final VFX and animation from our teams in London (led by Andy Kind), Montreal (led by Francois Lambert), Melbourne (led by Glenn Melenhorst and Dom Hellier) and Mumbai.
