VES Panel: VFX in 2021
Tune into Visual Effects Society's panel hosted by Foundry to discuss 'VFX in 2021: What Works, Who Works & What’s Changing Forever,' featuring Framestore Creative Director and VFX Supervisor, James Rogers.
During the discussion, James notes that “Change brings opportunity. [Thanks to remote working] now there is more of an appetite to embrace new techniques that can be part of the workflow and make you more efficient – a little icebreaker that 2020 provided."
BIFA Shortlist
We're thrilled that His House has been shortlisted for Best Effects at the 2020 BIFAs - the British Independent Film Awards - with VFX Supervisor Pedro Sabrosa sharing the nomination with special effects supervisor Stefano Pepin. The effects nomination is one of a whopping 16 overall nominations which include categories for director Remi Weekes and actress and actor Wunmi Mosako and Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù.

Insider x Lovecraft Country
Grant Walker, our VFX Supervisor on Lovecraft Country and Framestore's Joint Head of CG spoke to the team at Insider so they could put together a deep dive on how we brought to life the Shoggoth for HBO's Lovecraft Country; from design and modelling through to on-set reference stunt performers and final composition.
