Framestore's Global MD of Film, Fiona Walkinshaw, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the impact of COVID 19 on the VFX industry. This year the Creative Circle awards were hosted online and saw Framestore's advertising team honoured for their work on two projects from the last year. 

The team that worked on Politics. Tamed. for The Times and The Sunday Times were given a Silver Award for Best VFX/CG for a commercial that brought together a zoo-full of live action and CG animals in a completely CG house of commons. 

Congratulations to all the teams at Framestore and our clients who have won pencils at this year's D&AD awards like WSJ for Read Yourself Better and Apple for Bounce which both won in the VFX category, with Bounce also picking up awards for Direction and Production Design.

Framestore is proud to be nominated for the Special, Visual and Graphic Effects BAFTA for its work on His Dark Materials.

We are proud to share that our work on Spike Jonze’s ‘Welcome Home’ commercial for Apple has received global recognition in winning the Visual Effects Society (VES) Award for Outstanding Compositing in a Photoreal Commercial.

The British Arrows has announced the shortlist for both its Arrows and Craft awards; which sees Framestore shortlisted for two awards as well as a whole raft of our projects shortlisted in several different categories.

CGI: Purdey's 'Hummingbird'

Hummingbird - the full CG Purdey's commercial produced by Framestore Pictures and directed by Murray Butler has been shortlisted for the Craft CGI Award. 

We are thrilled to have been awarded Best Attraction and Retention Strategy at this year's Montreal International Awards, recognizing companies that are leading the way in terms of export, attracting overseas talent and contributing to Montreal’s economy.

We're delighted to share the news that Framestore has won an Annie Award for Best Character Animation - TV/Media for our work on Iorek, the armoured bear, in His Dark Materials (BBC / HBO). Huge congratulations to the whole team who worked so hard to bring him to life.
