We are thrilled to see the release of the first trailer for Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, a musical adventure and a visual spectacle worked on by our teams in Montreal and London. From the imagination of writer-director David E. Talbert, the feature film reminds us of the strength of family and the power of possibility.

For a piece on Little Black Book, Creative Director Henry Trotter was asked what he considers some of the most exciting projects where art meets augmented reality, along with other tech-heads and art-heads from the advertising world.

Henry talked about Apple's Vritual Art Tour which was developed in partnership with the New Museum in New York and featured work by six different artists.  

In our next installment on the Blooloop blog, concept designer Yoan Vernet wrote about how our art department has to approach creating designs specifically for theme parks. 

He spoke about the immediacy that visuals have to have when incorporated into the world of a theme park and how he has to always remind himself where the visuals will ultimately end up.

We are excited to share that Framestore was the recipient of several 2020 AEAF Awards, including two Gold and one Silver across television, title and commercial work.

Gold TV Series - HBO/BBC - His Dark Materials

Framestore is extremely proud to have won the BAFTA in Special, Visual and Graphic Effects for its work on His Dark Materials at the 2020 British Academy Television Craft Awards.

Framestore's Global MD of Film, Fiona Walkinshaw, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the impact of COVID 19 on the VFX industry. In the article, Fiona discusses how Framestore navigated working on large productions from home and the different techniques that can be used to help filmmakers during the current shooting restrictions. Read the full article here.

This year the Creative Circle awards were hosted online and saw Framestore's advertising team honoured for their work on two projects from the last year. 

The team that worked on Politics. Tamed. for The Times and The Sunday Times were given a Silver Award for Best VFX/CG for a commercial that brought together a zoo-full of live action and CG animals in a completely CG house of commons.
