Michael Cable
Michael Cable is Framestore’s Global VR Technical Director, and oversees Framestore VR Studio’s worldwide team. He has led the development on all of the Studio’s major VR projects, including HBO’s Game of Thrones ‘Ascend The Wall’ experience, Marvel and Samsung’s ‘Battle for Avengers Tower’, Merrell’s motion-capture 4D ‘Trailscape’, and the hugely successful Google Daydream experience for Warner Bros. Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
Michael joined Framestore in 2010, having previously worked extensively with the BBC managing live transmissions and later developing software for the broadcaster’s digital services. Upon his appointment he was tasked with developing the softwares behind across a host of award-winning work, including Framestore’s real-time, Unity-based ‘Beats by Dre’ activation. As part of the groundbreaking VR Studio, Michael has gone on to receive multiple accolades for his development work, resulting in his promotion to Global VR Technical Director.
