Kamen Markov
Kamen has been a major player in the VFX world for many years collecting accolades for work including Cravendale’s ‘Cats with Thumbs’, John Lewis & Partners ‘The Boy and the Piano’ which won more than 15 VFX awards globally including VES, Cannes Lion, British Arrows, ADC and the Immortal Awards, and LEGO’s ‘Rebuild The World’ campaign, nominated for Outstanding VFX at VES.
Kamen started his career as a Motion Graphic Designer for TV before going on to work as Editor and VFX Artist for TopForm Studio, in Bulgaria. Kamen then relocated to Mexico City where he began working at The FilterFX and quickly built a strong reputation collaborating with some of the top advertising directors. In 2009 he moved to London and joined MPC’s London studio as a VFX Supervisor and Flame Artist working on a number of award-winning projects with renowned directors.
As Framestore’s Creative Director of Advertising, Kamen has taken on a substantial role within the studio. His work is defined by a constant drive for early collaboration and building long-lasting relationships with agencies and directors. Most recently, Kamen has worked as Creative Director on the award-winning Sky ‘The Greatest Show on Earth,’ and as VFX Supervisor and Creative Director on Coca Cola’s ‘The World Needs More Santas’ and Paramount+ ‘A Mountain of Entertainment.
