Fiona Walkinshaw

Over the course of a successful 20-year career, Fiona has risen through the ranks to the position of Framestore’s Global Managing Director, Film. She has played a pivotal role in developing the film division, building it from an office of three to an Oscar, BAFTA and Emmy-winning team working from studios in London, Montreal, Melbourne, Vancouver and Mumbai. Framestore is currently working on 30 major film and episodic projects for the world’s biggest studios and most famous storytellers. 

As a VFX producer Fiona has worked on multiple Emmy Award-winning productions; and in 2002 took overall responsibility for the company’s expansion in order to take on landmark projects such as Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. She went on to become Executive Producer on the Academy Award-winning Gravity, one of Framestore's most complex projects to date. Under her leadership, Framestore have won three Academy Awards in Visual Effects. 

With a wide range of exciting pictures in the pipeline, Fiona continues to focus on securing new business whilst overseeing film development and long term strategy, striving to maintain Framestore’s position at the forefront of the VFX industry.
