Brian Solomon

Creative Technology Director
New York
Immersif

Brian started his career in film and has since drawn on that experience to explore how iconic film IP can be reimagined and brought to life through immersive experiences and new forms of entertainment. His work lives where story and technology run into each other: creative systems, applications, and real-world experiences.

Today he's a Creative Technology Director at Framestore leading a team of artists, engineers, and technologists developing AI and real-time approaches to how audiences interact with some of the world's most recognizable fictional characters. With his team, he brings those characters to life and builds real-world experiences around them.

Prior to Framestore, Brian was Creative Director of Real-time for Sphere's Exosphere, where he directed its launch and built tools and workflows that brought the exterior online. Before that, he founded the XR team at Meow Wolf, the globally renowned experiential production studio, introducing its artists, architects, and technologists to what digital layers of story and real-time experiences could provide. Along the way he's worked with startups and entertainment brands across advertising, immersive art, live ARGs, and interactive work that doesn't sit neatly in one platform or genre.

Across all of it, Brian is most interested in what storytelling can become as the tools around it change. What drives him is the moment an audience interacts with a new idea or feels something they haven't felt before, and the work of building teams that can make that moment real.
