Alan Woods

Alan Woods joined the Rides & Immersive team in 2020 as a VFX Supervisor. He has worked on projects such as Avengers: Quantum Encounter ( VES award nominee 2023), Hotel New York skyline bar (Disneyland Paris), The Hogwarts Express (Harry Potter World Tokyo) and other notable Framestore feature film projects including Guardians of the Galaxy and Wonder Woman 84. 

Originally starting at Framestore in 2003, as an ATD on the big screen movie remake of Thunderbirds, Alan worked across many film and advertising projects as a lighter and crowd technical director. In 2008 Alan took on a role as a Lighting Lead at Weta Digital for James Cameron’s Avatar. Alan then rejoined Framestore in 2010 as a Lighting Lead eventually becoming a CG Supervisor on Guardians of the Galaxy. Alan returned to Weta Digital in 2016 as a CG Supervisor to work on The BFG, Rampage and Valerian before heading back to Framestore London to take on the exciting Mary Poppins Returns. 

Alan is inspired by the level of artistry and passion that the teams he manages produce every day. He is always striving for the next perfect pixel and loves the challenge each creative journey brings.
